Amendment 0003:
The work includes the following and incidental related work:
a. Asbestos abatement throughout building to include roof panels and
exterior asbestos coated metal wall panels.
b. Replacing the HVAC system in its entirety.
c. Replacing all plumbing fixtures.
d. Replacing the interior and exterior lights, not including hangar
bay high bay fixtures.
e. Installing translucent fiberglass skylight in center area.
f. Upgrade the sprinkler and fire alarm system.
g. Replacing all wall, floor and ceiling finishes in all spaces except
hangar bays. This includes resealing hangar bay floors.
h. Reconfiguring most spaces to include the demolition of interior
walls and installation of new walls.
i. Replacing doors and frames, windows and frames, and door hardware.
j. Painting all exposed interior and exterior surfaces.
k. Removing and replacing the southern wall to meet the Antiterrorism
Standards.
l. Removing and replacing the northern wall to incorporate new
exterior finishes.
m. Install new roof deck over hangar bays and install new PVC roof
systems complete.
n. Relocate the secure fence and install a new personnel turnstile
access.
o. Install two (2) new security checkpoint for vehicles entering the
existing parking lot on the south end of the facility.
p. Indentify and document the existing striping on the hangar bay floor and
reinstall the striping to match the existing.
q. Apply inspection stickers to all grounding points.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PROJECT EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE
SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS:
A. REPLACEMENT OF ENTIRE ROOFING SYSTEM OTHER THAN CENTER SECTION ABOVE
FIRST FLOOR MAINTENANCE SHOPS (DETAIL 1 ROOF PLAN ON NAVFAC DRAWING
12714195).
B. INSTALLATION OF NEW LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM. NEW ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT
SHALL BE BONDED TO EXISTING LIGHTNING PROTECTION SYSTEM.
Amendment 0004: In General Requirements, Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work dated 08/15, DELETE item "m. Install new roof deck over hangar bays and install new pvc roof systems complete".
